Education Reform: Are We There Yet?
May 17, 1954 the U.S Supreme Court declared segregation in public schools unconstitutional in Brown vs Board of Education. For over thirty years since that historic moment in education the members of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation have fought tirelessly for education equality for African-Americans and other minority groups across the United States. Their commitment to social and educational advancement in the community has continued to place members of the CBC at the forefront of shaping progressive legislation that has bolstered educational reform.
