Herbert C. Conaway Jr.

Congressman Herbert Conaway Jr. has represented the 3rd Congressional District of New Jersey in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2025 (119th Congress) where he is a member of the House Committee on Small Business and the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs. Conaway served as a physician in the U.S. Air Force and then as an assemblyman in the New Jersey legislature for over 25 years before coming to Congress. He earned an undergraduate degree from Princeton University, an MD from Jefferson Medical College, and a JD from Rutgers University Law School.
