Allerd’s top priorities in Congress included working to lower healthcare costs, protecting Medicare and Social Security, and creating an economy that works for everyone. Before Congress, Allred served in the General Counsel’s office at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Allred graduated from Baylor University with a bachelor’s degree in history and earned a Juris Doctor from the University of California’s Berkeley School of Law.
