NEW Avoice Exhibit on African-American Leadership in Fair Housing Policy
The Avoice Virtual Library is pleased to announce the launch of a new exhibit on the role of African-American members of Congress in shaping the nation’s fair housing policy. From passage of the 1968 Fair Housing Act to more recent efforts to combat predatory lending, African-American members worked tirelessly to eradicate discriminatory housing policies and practices throughout the nation.
