Shomari Figures

Congressman Shomari Figures has represented the 2nd Congressional District of Alabama in the U.S. House of Representative since 2025 (119th Congress). He is a member of the House Committee on Agriculture and the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. Figures served as a law clerk on the federal court before joining the staff of the White House Office of Presidential Personnel and, later, the Department of Justice under the Obama Administration. Figures holds both an undergraduate and law degree from the University of Alabama.
