Angela Deneece Alsobrooks

Senator Angela Alsobrooks has served the state Maryland in the U.S. Senate since 2025 (119th Congress). Before coming to Congress, Alsobrooks was the youngest and first woman elected to serve as state’s attorney for Prince George’s County, MD and later was elected Prince George’s County Executive. She serves on the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs; Committee on the Environment and Public Works; the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions; and the Special Committee on Aging. Alsobrooks holds a bachelor’s from Duke University and a JD from the University of Maryland School of Law.
