Congressman Don Davis has represented the 1st Congressional District of North Carolina in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2023 (118th Congress-Present). Before his election to Congress, Davis was a dedicated educator and public servant, having served as the youngest mayor of the city of Snow Hill and on the North Carolina State Senate for several terms. In addition, Davis served as assistant professor of Aerospace Studies at East Carolina University Air Force ROTC Detachment 600, where he taught national security affairs, military history, and leadership courses. Davis serves on the House Committee on Agriculture and the House Committee on Armed Services. Davis is a United States Air Force Academy graduate and was a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force.
