Wesley Bell

Congressman Wesley Bell has served Missouri’s 1st Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2025 (119th Congress). He serves on the Committee on Armed Services and the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. Before coming to Congress, Bell worked as a professor, public defender, and municipal judge. He served on the Ferguson, Mo. City Council from 2015 to 2018 when he was elected prosecuting attorney for St. Louis County, a role he held until joining Congress in 2025. Bell earned a bachelor’s from Lindenwood University and a JD from the University of Missouri School of Law.
